Gentle reminders – All vehicles parked in the Central Lot must remain in place until the show concludes. If you cannot stay until then, please park in the exhibit lot. Those parking in the Exotics Lot and the Porsche Corner are free to arrive and leave at any time.
Head’s up – the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance and Motoring Festival is coming up Oct. 31 to Nov. 3 at the Port Royal Golf Club – the honored marque: is Bentley and Rolls-Royce Post-War. The event also celebrates the 125th anniversary of Packard, and the Class Of ’64 – 60 Years of Mustang; Pop Culture Cars Of The 50s & 60s; Rare English, Open & Closed European 50s, 60s, & 70s, Jaguar XK Class, Classic Japanese Performance, Micro Cars, Barn Finds, Automotive Orphans, Cannonball Run Motorcycles and more.

Dozens of fire, police, emergency services and other vehicles for kids to see up close for free, with food trucks, plus indoor and outdoor activities and information booths from county departments and organizations. FYI visitors can view the vehicles during quiet time from 9 to 11 a.m., and see them in action during the lights and sounds portion from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A 66-year-old British sports car maker has debuted the production version of its Ginetta Akula supercar, with a 6.4-liter V-8 producing 600 hp and 494 lb-ft of torque.
Announced in 2019, only20 of the 2-seaters will be made, each starting at $362,300. And with carbon fiber monocoque and floor, the car weighs just 2,624 lbs. – not much more than a Mazda Miata. And the Akula’s wind tunnel-tested aerodynamic package was derived from the Ginetta G61-LT-P1 LMP1 race car, with a flat floor and front splitter, rear wing and rear diffuser for high levels of downforce.
Power goes to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, or a dual-clutch, seven-speed automatic transmission, and 60 mph shows up in under 3 seconds, with a 180 mph-plus top speed. The centrally mounted V-8’s location ensures a 50:50 weight distribution, Ginetta said.
Akula is the Russian word for “shark.”

Dodge has a new 2025 special-edition model of the most powerful SUV ever: the 710-hp Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead. The HEMI engine was first offered as an option for the 2024 Durango, the first two special-edition vehicles: the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet, and Dodge Durango R/T 20th Anniversary models. All three are available now for ordering at dealerships in a limited-production run.
The Hammerhead comes in a dark blue Night Moves paint with Grey Laguna leather interior seating, 20-by-10-inch satin carbon wheels, satin black painted hood and black six-piston Brembo brake system. Its supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V-8 can get it to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, and covers the quarter-mile in an elapsed time of 11.5 seconds, paired with a TorqueFlite 8HP95 eight-speed automatic transmission that includes steering-wheel-mounted paddles for manual-style shifting.
The 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead has a base of $113,720.
